In partnership with AXIS Architecture, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning, hosts a one-week, non-residential summer camp for high school students in grades 9-12 at our CAP:Indy location, 26 N Pine Street, Indianapolis.
One-week exploration into architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning which includes site evaluation, sustainability, planning, sketching, and 3D modeling using Sketch-Up. Using a design site located in Indianapolis, students will research and evaluate the needs of community stakeholders and develop ideas for their client.
Benefits: ❚ Develop graphic material for college admission portfolios. ❚ Students will gain knowledge of the design thinking process used in the professions of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning.
