More Information
Every year, millions of birds are killed when they fly into windows. We created City Bird to bring awareness of this important issue to our community and to create a citizen science project that monitors bird-window collisions in the Triangle area of NC, USA. You can support us by volunteering and following us on social media. City Bird was founded by Jin Bai and Alberto Valido. Jin and Alberto are Ph.D. students at North Carolina State University and UNC-Chapel Hill. Our project aims to provide critical data needed to convince policymakers and landowners to make buildings safer for birds.
