Hands on STEM activities include:

Construct a drum to help celebrate the Chinese new year and to study the sound waves that help create the noise of the drums.

Learn about the history and importance of the Great Wall of China and build a model of it out of toothpicks and marshmallows.

Explore how a rotor works while building a replica of the bamboo dragonfly toy invented in ancient China around 400-500 BC.

Experiment with lift, drag, and thrust as you learn about the relationship between kites and the Chinese New Year!
