Join USGS geologist, Morgan Nasholds, and learn about Arizona’s rich variety of volcanoes, including the San Francisco Volcanic Field, the spectacular Uinkaret Volcanic Field that poured lava into the Grand Canyon, the Springerville Volcanic Field in eastern Arizona, and the mysterious San Carlos and San Bernardino volcanic fields in southern and southeastern Arizona. Hybrid Event: Webinar requires registration, in-person does not require a reservation.       Part of Flagstaff Festival of Science, a free annual 10-day event wholly designed to promote awareness and enthusiasm for science in and about northern Arizona and beyond, and is fondly known as the Best 10 Days of the Year. Established in 1990, it is the longest, continuously running, entirely free science festival in the world.
