Ranger Nikki will lead you on an evening walk to enjoy keep an eye and ear out for bats, owls, foxes, coyotes, kangaroo rats and other twilight and nocturnal critters. The route follows NoSo and Blevins Trails to make a 2-mile loop. The terrain is mostly smooth and flat but there are some areas that are uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Bring a regular flashlight and optional blacklight if the temperature is mild for scorpion searching. No pets, please. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available on the north side of the Trailhead parking lot. For those of you participating in the annual Maricopa County Parks 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to earn miles towards your goal! The Challenge runs November 1, 2025 – February 8, 2026.
