Petiole is a platform to collect, analyze, discuss and share plant leaf area data obtained by the smartphones camera using a mobile application.
Our project will help agronomists, plant physiologists, plant breeders, agriculture chemists and ecologists to improve productivity of leaf area measurement.
Petiole has three main features:
(1) Accessible Anywhere
Measure leaf area at your lab or in a field. Manage each experiment based on its unique characteristics, crops and more without Internet and equipment.
(2) Time Saver. Mobile application measures plant leaf area less than in a second.
Measure specific leaf area faster to make swifter decisions. Petiole gives you information that you can interpret quickly and act on.
(3) Petiole boosts productivity. Forget about plant leaf area meters and ImageJ. Petiole saves your time and finance for more important things.
