This all-outdoor, relaxed event will include the unveiling of our new outdoor box turtle enclosure, box turtle activity booths, Turtle Treks, photo ops, and meet-and-greets with live box turtles! You’ll even get the chance to learn how to participate in our citizen science project, Turtle Trekkers.
PWC’s own real-life turtle celebrity will also be making an appearance! Legacy, the mascot for the Box Turtle Connection, will be in attendance and ready to meet fans.
The event is FREE with a suggested $10 donation to help cover food costs and husbandry needs for our box turtles.
This event is sure to be “turtle-y” awesome and we hope to see you there!
