2024 Lottery - High School Research Teachers Conference

The annual Research Teachers Conference is to be held October 4-6 in Washington D.C.! Any high school STEM educators interested should enter the lottery before August 1st to have a chance at winning! The link to register is attached.

For intermediate to veteran teachers, there is an option to apply to attend as a Research Teacher Captain. 25 applicants will be selected. The duties of the position include;

• Present a breakout session at the conference, along with a first-time attendee partner
• Serve as a resource to 7-8 first-time attendees during the weekend
• Agree that attendees may contact them in the future for advice
• Present the Society’s Outreach and Equity Programs to at least 10 teachers at a conference or training external to the Society’s programs
