This series of 8 consecutive weekly presentations, beginnining on March 26, requires registration and fees at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC-Asheville.  You may participate online or in-person.

We will cover current issues in astronomy including the exploration of Mars, the revelations of the new James Webb Space Telescope, the latest findings about the natures of dark matter and dark energy, the enigmatic properties of black holes and the progress and promise of NASA’s current Artemis missions to return manned exploration to the moon. Notes: There are both an in-person and an online option for this course. Participants do not need to have taken part 1 of this course to enjoy part 2.
