More Information

We are back for another semester of ⭐ Ann Arbor Astronomy⭐ on Tap on Tuesday, September 15th at 7pm at Garage Bar (618 Church St.)! We are trying out a new venue– we are meeting in the outdoor tented area of Garage Bar where they have space for 150+ people, so bring all your friends to fill the new space!

This month, we will hear from astronomy grad student Dasha Crocker on measuring the composition of interstellar dust and from astronomy postdoc Logan Pearce about her time doing astronomy in the Grand Canyon this summer! We have collected so many new stickers over the summer to hand out as prizes for winning bingo and trivia. Additionally, we are also planning ** telescope observing **outside West Hall after the event, pending clear skies.

The event starts at 7pm at Garage Bar where you can find great drinks and a selection of food from Pizza House. A form of identification will be requested upon entry, though all ages are welcome. Wristbands or stamps will be given to people under the age of 21. Parking may be found nearby for a fee at the Forest Avenue Parking Structure.
