More Information

Known for their speed, intelligence, long slender body, black feet, and black face mask, these critters spend much of their life underground and emerge at night to go hunting for their favorite food source: the Prairie Dog. In this presentation, we will talk about their unique relationship with prairie dogs and how the Black-footed Ferret has been extirpated from much of its native habitat and what AZ Game and Fish and other wildlife agencies are doing to help bring them back from the brink of extinction. Presented by Arizona Game and Fish wildlife viewing biologists Jeff Meyers and Cheyenne Towne.
