Astronomy on Tap – Lansing – April 2026

Come join us this month for another special event at the Lansing Makers Network in collaboration with the MSU Science Festival! We’re really excited to return to the space and partner with the MSU Science Festival so that you can explore the resources they offer while still enjoying a great night of drinks, science, and good times! As always, this is a free event. We’ll have two astronomy-focused talks from local MSU scientists, trivia questions to test your newfound knowledge, and raffle prizes. The outline of events for the evening will be: – 5:30pm: Doors open – 5:30-7:30pm: “Make and Take” projects! Personal, sand-blasted shot glasses and custom-etched bottle openers ($15-20 each, limited qty, first-come, first-served) – 5:30pm: “Tacos by Jerry” will be available for food purchase – 7:30pm – AoT talks start! As indicated, food and drink will be available for purchase. Get there between 5:30 and 7:30 to grab a good seat, explore the space, and get your order in to beat the rush. Come with a curious mind and, better yet, bring a friend. Remember, science is even better with beer!
