Astronomy on Tap Boston: The Dark Side of the Force + Star Wars Trivia!

Astronomy on Tap is back to Boston at Aeronaut Brewing Co. (Somerville) on May 7th at 6pm! In this special edition of “The Dark Side of the Force,” we are shedding light on the mysterious dark matter and dark energy, which makes up about 95% of the universe despite being invisible. Harvard Physics Professor Cora Dvorkin will present how we can unveil the nature of dark matter with current and upcoming astrophysical observations. Recent Harvard Astronomy Ph.D. graduate Dr. Claire Lamman will discuss recent exciting results from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument, which are challenging our current understanding of dark energy and the evolution of the universe. There will also be trivia with prizes, featuring Star Wars!
