Astronomy on Tap Cardiff: History and Discoveries

Astronomy on Tap is back after the summer break on the 16th September at Porters, Cardiff for another fantastic evening of talks!

We are coming back strong with some talks on the history of Comets and the Mysterious Centaur, 29P/SW1, as well as a talk on imaging spectroscopy – or as our speaker likes to call it “how I discovered some weird stuff that nobody understands”.

In addition to these talks, our much loved quiz will return (with prizes)! Staff from the university will be dotted around throughout the evening to answer all your pressing astronomy questions, so come on down and learn some cool and interesting facts!
