Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Black Holes & Galaxies

Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, September 28th for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech research scientist Elias Kammoun in a talk entitled: “Black Hole Echolocation,” and we’ll host Caltech / Carnegie postdoctoral fellow Nicole Sanchez discussing: “A Marriage of Convenience: When Simulations Meet Reality.” In addition, we will have telescopes on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and NASA swag!
