More Information

Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, November 16th for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech postdoctoral fellow Sean Bruton in a talk entitled: “Inflation Was Way Worse 13.8 Billion Years Ago: Studying the Big Bang with SPHEREx,” and we’ll host Caltech PhD candidate Harshda Saxena discussing: “Studying the Giants: Understanding the universe through its largest structures.” In addition, we will have telescopes on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and NASA swag!

The event is free and open to all ages. No reservations are necessary, just show up and stay only as long as you want. To view our past events, see our location page. For more information about our future events and affiliated Stargazing Lecture Series at Caltech, see our website.
