More Information

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, August 4th for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from NASA JPL scientist Morgan Cable: “Exploring Saturn’s Moon Titan with the Dragonfly Mission,” and Carnegie Observatories Postdoctoral Fellow David Vartanyan: “Furtive Nudges and Gravity Bombs: Yet Another Talk on Exploding Stars .” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and NASA educational swag!

The event is free and open to all ages. No reservations are necessary, just show up and stay only as long as you want. To view our past events, see our location page. For more information about our future events and affiliated Stargazing Lecture Series at Caltech, see our website.
