Astronomy on Tap NYC 146: Haunted Moons

Join us for Astronomy on Tap NYC #146 – the next in our monthly series at Pete’s Candy Store! Astronomy on Tap is fun and informative, with professional scientists and educators, plus games, prizes, and a bit of learning while drinking.

This, the spookiest month, we’ll be talking about the Europa Clipper, having just launched, and all the ghosts it might find out at Jupiter! Plus some other spooky and haunted moons of our Solar System and beyond! Our speakers this month are: •Kate Schmidt, AMNH – on the Clipper of Europa! •Arline Lee – on our own creepy moon, in both fiction and real life! with moons trivia by Brian Levine aka MC Tycho Brewhaha!

Doors open at 6:45pm, talks start at 7pm SHARP. Arrive early to get your seats, grab a drink, and settle in for two science talks, trivia, prizes, and fun!
