BioBlitz at Cairns Woods: Nature Walk and Community Science

Join us for a walk in the woods where we will help catalog different species in Cairns Woods as a part of the Wisconsin Science Festival BioBlitz. Bring a smart phone, if you have one, with the iNaturalist or Seek app installed (you are welcome to stop by the library the day of the event for assistance). Or just bring yourself and your walking shoes and we’ll provide you with old fashioned clipboard and pencil ways to do the cataloging! Get out into nature, help scientists through data collection, gather together with others and get to know this public space a little bit better.
