Are you an out-of-school time educator in Ohio looking for resources to engage your 3rd-8th grade students in computer science?
Join us on Tuesday, September 17th or Thursday, September 25th from 9AM to 2PM in Columbus, OH for a FREE session and leave with activities and resources for your out-of-school time program!
During these sessions you’ll gain valuable strategies and resources for implementing “unplugged” technology activities with students. No devices are required, allowing you to explore key concepts and activities creatively.
Selected participants will:
Leave with lessons for implementing computer science in your program
Obtain Ohio Approved credit (pending approval)
Receive a $100 stipend for completing the lessons with students and returning student surveys
Have opportunities to participate in a Computer Science-focused Community of Practice
Who should apply:
Ohio out-of-school time educators who work directly with students in 3rd-8th grades
Notifications of selection will be sent by August 30th
