CameraSpotter

CameraSpotter is a Citizen Science App as part of the Start Making Sense project led by the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre (The Netherlands). The project examines the presence and use of surveillance cameras.

Documenting Public Spaces

With CameraSpotter App, users map where, why, and by whom cameras are used and, through that, initiate a dialogue about surveillance in public domains. The App is applied in Rotterdam city with the aim in mind to build a public camera register for and by the people living there.
