More Information

Join Dane County Parks to celebrate the completed restoration of the historic Beer Cellar at CamRock County Park. This open house style event will be located at the beer cave entrance. Stop by anytime during the event to enjoy some “stone soup” (a soup made from the collective contributions of a number of volunteers) and beverages, including beer from the Sunshine Brewing Company. There will be a vegetarian soup option.

Volunteer, Richard Moen, who spent several years restoring the cave will be on site to chat and answer any questions.

To get to the cellar, park at Shelter #3 or at the Historic Rockdale Mill Site and follow the luminary trails to the beer cave (marked by a red star on the attached map below). Be advised that Shelter #3 has more parking but includes a walk down a steep hill.

This is a free event, no registration is required.
