Chickenology: (n.) the collaborative study of life science standards by focusing on the ancestry, traits, and behaviors of a familiar organism–the chicken
This two-day workshop for Ohio STEM educators is tooled specifically for Ohio Biology standards, and will help to prepare students for State Tests. Teacher leaders with GrowNextGen will guide participants in how to teach ancestry, inheritance, and environmental/human impact using chickens and turkeys for context.

- Project-based engineering challenges
All attending teachers will leave with:
- Prepared slides
- Hygrometer/thermometer
