More Information
The Coastal Research Volunteers program engages volunteers in meaningful coastal science and stewardship opportunities in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region and its surrounding watersheds.
Coastal Research Volunteers works closely with professional researchers to match volunteers with funded research projects in all areas of coastal research. Current projects include the following:
American eel migration monitoring
Horseshoe crab spawning surveys
Oyster monitoring and restoration
Measuring long-term changes in beach profile
Phenological monitoring
Surveying stream quality
Coastal Research Volunteers connects citizen scientists with others in their community who are interested in coastal research and stewardship. CRV citizen scientists form connections with professional researchers and contribute to coastal research.
