This spring, NHM is proud to partner with A Place Called Home (APCH) to present their Comics Art and Literacy Expo (CALE) —a celebration of learning designed to encourage Los Angeles youth to cultivate an engaging relationship with reading, achieved through the inviting fun of comics and comic art.
By providing engaging programming in accessible spaces, NHM and APCH aim to inspire a love of storytelling, art, and reading among participants of all ages and backgrounds. Together, we can make a positive impact on our community and empower individuals to explore their creativity and express themselves through comics and storytelling.
The Comics Art and Literacy Expo takes place in NHM Commons, which is free and open to all. A separate General Admission ticket is required for access to the Museum’s main galleries and exhibitions.
Limited paid parking will be available in the NHM Car Park on Bill Robertson Lane. Additional parking may be found in EXPO Park’s Blue Lot.
