Join the North Carolina Zoo’s 2025–2026 Homeschool Days: Environments Around the World!
March 10th is all about Life in the Clouds. Through an educational program (designed for k-5th grade students) or a guided hike on a trail at the Zoo (designed for 6th-12th grade students), participants will explore the high-altitude world of mountain ecosystems. They will discover how animals have adapted to survive and how salamanders can thrive. Spend the rest of the day exploring the North Carolina Zoo’s exhibits, meeting animals from around the world, and enjoying the beauty of the season. Don’t miss the rest of the series: Built for the Cold (Dec. 9) and Canopy Kingdoms (May 7).
