More Information

The CrowdWater project collects hydrological data all over the world. Use the free CrowdWater app (available for iOS and Android) and collect valuable information about water levels, streamflow quantities, soil moisture, dynamics of temporary streams, plastic pollution and stream types independently and without the need for any measuring devices. The project investigates the value of these data for hydrological modelling. The long-term goal of CrowdWater is to collect a large number of observations and thus improve the prediction of hydrological events such as drought or floods.
