This one-day workshop equips grades 5–10 science educators with hands-on activities and standards-aligned strategies to strengthen cell cycle instruction and Nature of Science skills. Participants will investigate mitosis, explore cell functions, and connect cell processes to homeostasis through inquiry-based labs and modeling, all while aligning lessons with vertical learning progressions. Educators will leave with ready-to-use resources and practical tools to help students think like scientists and make complex life science topics accessible and engaging.
