More Information

Join Dr. Michelle Thaller (Astrophysicist, Retired NASA Science Communicator, and Waukesha Native) as she discusses Setting the Stage for Life: Our Deep Connection to the Universe.

When you think about astronomy, you might imagine distant planets and stars that are beautiful and mysterious, but are not related to our everyday lives here on Earth. In fact, everything we are, everything we do, is deeply connected to the larger universe. The lives and deaths of the stars set the stage for the formation of our world and the beginning of life, and we have recently discovered that even the building blocks of our DNA most likely came from space. Join us and find out just how profound a connection we all share with the stars.
