EAA Space Day

Prepare for blastoff at EAA’s Space Day on Saturday, October 24, at the EAA Aviation Museum, featuring a special virtual presentation from retired NASA astronaut Fred Haise! Families with young children will find plenty of hands-on fun, but space enthusiasts of all ages are invited to join the adventure by launching straw rockets, engineering lunar landers, and exploring full-scale Mercury and Gemini space capsule replicas. Guests can also travel across the universe in the Barlow Planetarium’s immersive portable planetarium experience, with five shows offered throughout the day. Whether you’re a future astronaut or simply curious about space, Space Day is packed with excitement, discovery, and inspiration for everyone!
