Environmental Science students at Warriner High School in Sheboygan, WI have class each week at Maywood Environmental Park, and they would love to share with you all of the things that make Maywood special. Come enjoy a self-guided nature hike, explore Maywood’s six unique habitats, learn facts about plant and animal species commonly found in the park, and have the opportunity to participate in Wisconsin Science Festival BioBlitz. Maywood is known as a local birding hotspot, as well as being famous for maple sugaring- be sure to take a peek in the Sugar Shack!

Trails are open daily from 4 am-10 pm, and Ecology Center hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am-4pm/ Saturdays 9am-Noon. Hike maps and event information will be posted outside the Ecology Center. Stop in after your hike to view mounted animals, park information, nature gifts, and more!

Note: Maywood is a dog-free park to avoid disturbing nesting birds and other wildlife.
