Engineering for Kids: Colorful Chemistry Lab / Minecraft Redstone – Digital Logic & Automation

(AM - APPRENTICE) Colorful Chemistry Lab Art and science unite in Colorful Chemistry Camp! Using a series of fun, hands-on experiments, campers will explore the scientific and chemical basis of the world around them. The youngsters will explore colors, fluids, nature, and chemical reactions as they are taught how to ask questions and find answers like a scientist - the basis of the scientific method. The Colorful Chemistry Camp makes science fun through playful and creative experimentation.   (PM - APPRENTICE) Minecraft Redstone: Digital Logic & Automation The Minecraft game kids love contains a unique element known as Redstone. Ask your children, and they’ll likely tell you that Redstone is used to construct mechanical creations in a player’s Minecraft world. But, it just so happens that Redstone’s in-game mechanics are perfect for teaching things like digital logic, circuitry, and automation – while also providing an introduction to combinatorics and other mathematical principles. In our new Minecraft Redstone Adventures camp, kids are challenged with building increasingly complex Redstone machines as they have fun building and perfecting their Minecraft worlds.
