Our lessons will test campers with logic problems and coding dilemmas in a way that feels like play, culminating in a class-wide project to construct an entire train world! Campers will build pre-designed and custom track layouts to tackle challenges. Complete with colored tile-based programming, ramps, tunnels, bridges, and a companion app that quickly pairs to each train, Smart Trains makes for one exciting program! (PM - APPRENTICE) Theme Park Builder: Design & Manage Creating thrilling theme park rides requires a mastery of physics and engineering. But, even the most exhilarating rollercoaster wouldn’t have any riders without a park to call home. Using the business simulation game, Parkitect, campers will learn not only the physics behind breathtaking rides, but will also learn the business-management skills needed to attract adrenaline-hungry guests. Chart monthly profits and losses, calculate expenses, and manage loans to avoid bankruptcy, all while building the theme park of your dreams.
