(AM - APPRENTICE) Everything is Awesome: LEGO Stop Motion Learn to make stop-motion videos with the LEGO pieces kids already love! This updated version of our stop-motion course covers all of the skills and tricks needed to produce expert-level stop motion videos. Campers will first learn the basics of stop motion movement. Then, they’ll learn how to add faces, dialog, and sound effects. Ultimately, they’ll learn how to make characters and objects defy gravity. At the end of camp, we’ll have a film festival and each student will have their own LEGO stop-motion video to share with family and friends! (PM - APPRENTICE) World Hacker: Minecraft Modding In this coding-centric Minecraft program, campers will approach a variety of in-game problems that require a mod (game modification) to overcome. Make chickens rain from the sky to distract the baddies and construct your own Minecraft car to drive through your world. Even Minecraft veterans will love our fully integrated modding interface that can be opened and used directly in the game itself. Our brand-new educational version of Minecraft is perfect for beginners and long-time players alike, stuffed to the brim with tutorials, late-game extensions, and quality-of-life features not found in mainstream Minecraft.
