(AM - JUNIORS) Vehicle Visionaries Workshop Take a closer look at the vehicles we use everyday: cars, bikes, trains, and boats! Learn what makes them move and how their designs can be changed to accommodate a renewable future. Figure out how to combat ocean pollution as the captain of your own boat or discover what life on the railroad is like. Construct hands-on models to help illustrate the concepts you’ll be learning about and work together with the class to tackle big energy challenges that the world is looking for solutions to now! (PM - JUNIORS) Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted Rev up an excitement for learning! In this newly-revised camp, our Junior campers are introduced to basic physics principles using the Hot Wheels cars and tracks they love. They’ll learn about energy, gravity, force, and motion as they experiment with different track builds and different car modifications. They’ll learn about acceleration, friction, and aerodynamics by testing various tracks and driving surfaces. They’ll learn about gravity and g-forces by constructing loops and curves. Campers will love learning as they build a series of increasingly fun, interesting, and educational race tracks. 4 - 7 years old on the day of the activity May 27, 2025 until May 30, 2025 Can be full day individual drop-in sessions or half-day or full day all week session
