A volunteer naturalist will lead a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk may include geology, wildlife, history, archeology, and plant life. The naturalist welcomes questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience. Park entry fees for the walk on this date will be sponsored by The Benefactors of Red Rock State Park but space is limited. Call the park at (928) 282-6907 to reserve your spots.       Part of Flagstaff Festival of Science, a free annual 10-day event wholly designed to promote awareness and enthusiasm for science in and about northern Arizona and beyond, and is fondly known as the Best 10 Days of the Year. Established in 1990, it is the longest, continuously running, entirely free science festival in the world.
