Join us for a Guided Walking Tour of Harrenburg Wash in Kachina Village. Discover the inspiring story of how a once-dry meadow was transformed back into a vibrant wetland teeming with life. As we stroll along an easy, less-than-a-mile loop, you’ll learn how this rare and vital habitat was carefully restored to support native plants, birds, and other wildlife. Reservations are required. Location: Harrenburg Wash Trailhead       Part of Flagstaff Festival of Science, a free annual 10-day event wholly designed to promote awareness and enthusiasm for science in and about northern Arizona and beyond, and is fondly known as the Best 10 Days of the Year.
