More Information

During the evening of September 17th , the full moon will slip through the Earth’s lengthy shadow and be partially eclipsed as seen from Earth. During this majestic and unusual event, we’ll explore what is happening during an eclipse, discuss features of the full moon to see with our eyes and binoculars, and note features or colors we may see on the moon at this time. There will be ample opportunity to share and ask questions as we witness together one of the celestial wonders of nature. This is a one-session, online-only event.
This event is hosted by club member/astronomer Stephan Martin.
Registration and fees apply for this  online event .
