Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona: American Red Cross Online Babysitter’s Basics Training

Cadette, Senior, Ambassador American Red Cross self-paced online training for certification in Babysitting skills, safety tips, and more. The purpose of this American Red Cross online training is to provide Girl Scouts with the skills necessary to safely give care. Topics include how to provide care for infants and children, how to stay safe, what to do in an emergency, how to choose age-appropriate activities, and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. At the end of the training, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador girls will be prepared to start their first babysitting business. Babysitting certification is valid for two years.
