Highlands Center for Natural History: Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe – Traditional Plants of the Yavapai People

Linda Ogo, Director of the Culture Research Department for the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe, will share some of the traditional plants used by the Yavapai. The Yavapai wandered over their definite territories in search of plant products and game. Small groups traveled to different locations where wild foods were ripening using knowledge handed down from many generations.
