This fall, Homeschool Days will explore the planet of Mars through different hands-on activities each month.
In October, students will learn about Mars lander missions and use creative problem-solving to design their own model landers.
Activities:
- 10:00-10:30am Science on a Sphere® Presentation
- 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. K-5th Session 1 and Session 2
- 1:30-2:00 p.m. Science on a Sphere® Presentation
- 2:00-3:30 p.m. K-5th Session 3 and 6th-12th Session 1
Note: The K-5th and 6th-12th sessions feature similar activities with scaled content and/or challenges for younger or older students. We encourage families to enroll their students in the session that is the best fit for them.
Note: In case of cancellation due to weather, this program will be rescheduled for Wednesday, October 8th.
