NEW THIS YEAR! Your Homeschool Days fee now includes full-day admission to enjoy all the exhibits and activities. Don’t miss out, workshop sessions still require pre-registration, and space fills up fast.
This fall, Homeschool Days will explore the planet of Mars through different hands-on activities each month.
In November, students will explore how rovers help us study Mars terrain by engineering a model rover.
Activities:
- 10:00–10:30 a.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
- 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. K–5th Session 1 and Session 2
- 1:30–2:00 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
- 2:00–3:30 p.m. K–5th Session 3 and 6th–12th Session 1
Note: The K–5th and 6th–12th sessions feature similar activities with scaled content and/or challenges for younger or older students. We encourage families to enroll their students in the session that is the best fit for them.
Note: In case of cancellation due to weather, this program will be rescheduled for Wednesday, November 12.
