More Information

Please join us as we explore the Otten Preserve near Sunburst Ski Hill on the Kewaskum Segment. The fall colors should be peaking at this time.

Following the hike, we will offer grilled brats and hot dogs. Bring your own beverages and sides. Make plans to explore one of our Trail Communities in the area, Slinger or West Bend.

LOCATION: Meet at the Ice Age National Scenic Trail parking lot on Ridge Road, south of Kewaskum. Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will hike to the back side of Sunburst Ski Hill, returning along the white loop trail for a total of about 2.5 miles. A shorter hike of 1.5 miles is also possible using the blue connector trail.

WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water and insect repellant.
