OVERVIEW: Join us for a FREE professional development workshop focused on integrating Portable Innovation Labs (PILs) into your classroom. Portable Innovation Labs are FREE resources that educators can borrow to bring more unique STEM opportunities to students. In collaboration with the PAST Foundation, we’ll explore how PILs promote design thinking, create connections to real-world workforce skills, and bring hands-on, engaging activities to life.
Throughout the day, we’ll dive into what PILs offer and how they benefit students. You’ll have the chance to play and explore with PILs yourself, experiencing their full potential in action. We will wrap up the session by designing a classroom activity together, ensuring you leave with a practical and exciting project to implement. Don’t miss this opportunity to bring innovation and real-life learning into your classroom!
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a laptop or tablet if you would like create digital resources for your classroom activity. We will have coffee, snacks, and boxed lunches available for you during this event.
