The South Carolina Aquarium is empowering citizens and communities to take meaningful conservation action by tracking and removing plastics and other debris from both land and water. Litter Journal data can be accessed by anyone and are critical in identifying the most problematic debris and helping develop solutions for reducing litter. Collectively, these efforts improve human health, promote habitat conservation, and save wildlife.
