Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: All About Saguaros

Relax and stay cool inside the Nature Center as you learn all about our desert’s majestic saguaro cacti with Ranger Nikki. Join Ranger Nikki for an indoor classroom presentation on saguaros – the iconic symbols of our Sonoran Desert. Learn about their life cycle from tiny seed to many-armed giant to fallen skeleton and all the beneficial things it provides in between. There will be a slideshow, specimens to examine and worksheets for children. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. Meeting location: Nature Center classroom No registration required.
