Get the morning started off right with a walk though cacti and along the lake guided by a Ranger. Ranger Derik will lead this hike along the Wild burro trail and talk about the many cacti species that call the park home. The terrain ranges from even and smooth to uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. The hike will cover 3 miles as an out and back. No pets, please. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the trailhead. The MC Parks website is the best resource for verifying the program’s current status, so please check the program listing prior to departing for your scheduled program. Limit 20 participants.
