Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Hike

Join Ranger Shaun for an after dark desert adventure! Explore the interesting Metate, Towhee, and parts of the Spur Cross trails in the dark with UV lights and flashlights while looking nocturnal critters. We’ll listen for and attempt to identify night sounds, insects,plants, birds, and lizards. If we’re lucky enough to encounter them, we’ll add snakes, mammals, or whateverelse volunteers! MEETING LOCATION: Spur Cross Parking Lot. Annual Pass or CASH areaccepted, and exact change is much appreciated. Limit 10 participants. If you find you cannot attend a program after youhave registered, please call back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted.
