Join Ranger Nikki for an early morning hike to watch the desert start the day. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the morning desert on this 3-mile easy to moderate hike. We will watch for birds, mammals and reptiles as the sun rises and the day warms up. The route follows San Tan, Stargazer and Moonlight Trails and the park’s service road. The terrain varies from smooth and level to uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. MEETING LOCATION: Main Entrance Trailhead picnic table Free with Park Fee
