Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Hohokam Masters of the Desert

Stop by the White tank Nature center after your morning hike or after your trip through the library and learn about the amazing people that once called the White Tank Mountains their home. Ranger Derik will have tables set up in the nature center featuring traditional foods, pottery, stone tools, pelts, and more available to hold and check out that were found through the county parks system. The ranger will be able to answer your questions and give recommendations on where and how to view the history in the park.
